A friend of mine posted this video on my Facebook wall a couple of days ago of a stray cat trying to resuscitate another stray cat that had been hit by a car, and it was so heart-wrenching that my tears just flowed. The question, "Why didn't anyone rush the cat to the vet?" kept repeating itself in my head, but even though it was so sad, it also seemed oddly beautiful... how a "mere" stray cat would have the heart to try and rescue his friend.

Lagi oy, luoy jud kaayo, Tess. :( But I know the chances of a cat surviving after being hit by a car are almost zero. I had a cat named Scraggy once who got sideswiped by a speeding car. I was told by "witnesses" that the car barely even touched her, but the shock was probably too much for her and she didn't make it. :( So now my three cats are indoor cats. They only go outdoors when supervised by a human. :)
